Hello! I hope you all have had a Merry Christmas and that your New Year celebrations are fabulous. Parent-Teacher conferences are by invitation. If I did not invite you to have a conference, you can still set one up with me if you have questions or concerns or you can email me to set up a time to talk by phone! I am looking forward to seeing you all next year!!!

Upcoming Tests, Assignments That Are Coming Due, and Exciting Happenings Before Christmas Break!
1. Turn in note cards with your 3 minute speech written on them by Monday 12/14. This will simply be a shorter version of your 5 paragraphs about your historical person. You will have time in class to work on this.
2. History test on Monday 12/14 over the age of the explorers. You already have a study guide and we will go over it in class. Study this guide and you will do well on the test.
3. There will be a Greek and Latin roots test on 12/15. This will be over the last 25 roots that we have studied in class. You will have time in class to study for this.
4. There will be a math test on ratios (our next short math unit) on Friday 12/18.
5. Thursday 12/17 is Literature Day where you get to dress up as your favorite literary character! Make sure you pick one and come dressed up! I have decided to come as Gandalf from the Lord of the Rings.
6. Friday 12/18 is our Literature Feast!
