We have been slowly working our way through this power point supplementing with worksheets.  We are at diagramming prepositional phrases.  Now we are going to spend some time just practicing recognizing prepositional phrases and then diagramming sentences with subjects, predicates, adjectives, adverbs, and prepositional phrases.  Diagramming is not only great fun, but it teaches students to become engineers with words!

The Animal Project is Due on October 8th.  Students will do their 3 minute presentations on October 9th!  
Parents, if you already had a peek at the project packet you may have noticed that it was missing some information.  That is because we had a printing error and every other page was missing.  We are putting those pages in this morning!  We will be working on this in class over the next two weeks.  I will be updating this blog regularly to give at home help and direction for this project.

The test will be over all of the power points and the quizzes we have derived from them.  We will be correcting all quizzes and ensuring that these form a great study guide for all students.  I will also ensure that all students make flash cards to study from.  In addition, the primary sources for the test are the power points and they are posted on this blog each day after we work through them.  So don't worry about the test.  I will help you prepare.  Your job is just to work hard and be happy!
